Since 1999 Healing Reins Therapeutic Riding Center has been connecting riders with special needs to horses with special gifts. The riders are diverse. They come from different backgrounds - have different needs and dream different dreams. Some are physically disabled - others mentally challenged. Still others need a way to reconnect with a world that seems to have forgotten them. All are joined by a common experience the joy of independence - the freedom to fly without wings - the connection of hand to rein - skin to coat - heart to beating heart.
