The Maupin Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary non-profit corporation of businesses and individuals in the South Wasco County area dedicated to improving the business climate - tourists and businesses - and ensuring that our area is a good place to live - work - visit and raise a family.Chamber membership is open to all businesses and individuals in Maupin and the South Wasco County area and to businesses with an interest in doing business in our area. For more information - please call 541-395-2599. The Chamber also coordinates summer volunteer staffing for the Visitors Center at the north entrance to Maupin on Highway 197. Information for travelers - newcomers and residents is complimentary. The Visitors Center has information about local history - brochures - maps for local and regional destinations. Volunteers needed to help greet guests at the Visitors Center.
